Exam dates and fees 2023

There's currently no local ABRSM representative in Malawi, so all exam arrangements are handled by the Music Theory team in our London office. Unfortunately, we don't hold Practical exams in Malawi.

To make an entry, please complete the relevant entry form, then scan and email it to [email protected] before the closing date for that session. Find out more about exam fees, closing dates and exam periods. Please note that Theory exams can only be held as Visits at schools of general education or LEA music centres approved by ABRSM in line with our regulations.

We'll then give you ABRSM’s bank details and a unique code for each candidate, which should be included in the payment reference for the bank transfer. This ensures that we're able to link your payment to your entry. Theory exam materials will be posted to the host venue four weeks before the exam.

Additional information

Please note that retake fees apply only to candidates applying for a partial retake (2.2 or 2.1 and 2.2, etc.). If candidates are retaking the complete exam, the full fee is payable.
